The characters don't say a word because their words would give away "the answer. " How far can imagination take the audience just from looking at a tree rustling in the wind? I'd like to make my works stimulate the imagination of people who watch them.
I'd like to find the contact point between life and art at a moment in ordinary days, and place importance on making something that would remain the audiences' hearts forever. It would make me the happiest if people want to buy my works of art and appreciate them at home.
What rejoiced my heart was not the award itself but the empathy so many people felt by sharing my view of the world.
