STORY
Kaoru, Hiroki and Takeshi are childhood friends. Adults now, they have
gone their separate ways, but still live close to each other in central
Tokyo. Hiroki works for a newspaper company, and Takeshi has followed
in his father#s footsteps to work at the Tsukiji fish market. Both men
love Kaoru, but Hiroki is too shy to express it. Finally, Takeshi
proposes to her, and she accepts. On the day of their engagement party,
Takeshi crashes his car and becomes comatose. After three years,
Takeshi comes out of his coma - but with no memory of his engagement#
Born 1982 in Tokyo. Her earliest fame came when she starred in School for Ghosts as a child actor in 1995. She has steadily developed her career into adult roles with TV dramas such as Audrey (2000) and Be With You (2005), and with Ryuhei Kitamura#s feature films Azumi (2003) and Sky High (2003). She also provided voice for the animated film Tokyo Godfathers (2003). She will soon be seen as the romantic lead in Tetsuo Shinohara#s Metro (2006).
Born 1980 in Yamaguchi. Made his debut as the vocalist of the J-Pop band EXILE in 2001. He made his solo debut in 2005, and left EXILE the following year. In Heaven Can Wait he makes his acting debut.

Other TV works include such hits as All About the Young Men (1994), Friends (2001), Antique (2001), Love, Girls (2002) and Love Letter: The Man We Loved (2003). His big screen adaptation of Takuji Ichikawa#s bestseller, Be With You (2004), became a huge success in Japan and other Asian countries, and is being developed for a Hollywood remake.
