Synopsis

Celebrating his successful come-back as a teacher after being out of work for many years, Manabu (29) goes to a sexual massage salon to treat himself on New Year's Eve. When he is about to reach climax, he is suddenly struck by a severe headache and sent to hospital naked to his embarrassment. He is now diagnosed with a subarachnoid hemorrhage and needs to go through brain surgery, but his main concern relates to the shameful fact of where exactly he has fellen down - the fact which his family demands to know...


Introduction

This is a true story of a man who miraculously survives from a severe illness called subarachnoid hemorrhage, but the whole journey was rather full of embarrassing moments for him to go through... Directed by a first time feature director Toshimasa Kobayashi, the film is based on a comic "Kumoman." (torch comics / LEED) by Manabu Nakagawa (the real protagonist of the story) who has previously worked with Kobayashi for a TV drama "Bokuniwa mada tomodachiga inai (I still do not have any friends)" which Nakgawa has originally written.
